The first stage of the 17th Al Dhafra Festival has concluded at Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Heritage Square in Sweihan, Al Ain, after eight consecutive days of heritage competitions and events that form part of the Abu Dhabi camel mazayna season.
The first stage of the 17th Al Dhafra Festival in Sweihan welcomed more than 1,800 camel owners from across the GCC, who took part in 76 camel contests with a total prize fund of more than AED11 million, celebrating the UAE’s cultural heritage.
