His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, has toured Dubai Airshow to witness the latest innovative technologies in the aerospace industry.
During the tour, His Highness visited various exhibitors and stands representing leading local, regional and international aviation and aerospace companies, including Airbus, Boeing and Lockheed Martin. His Highness also reviewed the pioneering achievements of key national companies such Edge, Tawazun and Mubadala.
HH was briefed on the main features of the new flagship Airbus A350 plane, which will be added to Etihad Airways’ fleet from 2022. He was also briefed on the characteristics of the Calidus B-250 light attack aircraft, which is built by the UAE company Calidus.
This year’s edition of the Dubai Airshow features more than 20 national pavilions, along with an airshow and an aircraft display of more than 60 commercial, military, and private jets.
