The Integrated Transport Centre, part of the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi, has expanded its services to incorporate Abu Dhabi’s driver and vehicle licensing ecosystem, in coordination and in line with the unified federal traffic and licensing ecosystem and its data, aiming to establish a unified and integrated driver and vehicle licensing ecosystem across Abu Dhabi emirate, in support of efforts to enhance user experience, satisfaction and happiness rates.
This expansion comes in line with Abu Dhabi’s strategic vision, and its comprehensive plan to develop the transport sector in tandem with best international practices, to meet aspirations of the wise leadership to enhance the process of development in the emirate, and increase competitiveness of all sectors and services of the local economy to support global competitiveness indexes related to the transport sector in Abu Dhabi.
The Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi and the Integrated Transport Centre will collaborate with Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters to ensure business continuity and provision of vehicle and driver licensing services.
The centre has assured that all vehicle and driver licensing services will continue to be available and accessible through current licensing centres and digital channels until the process of transferring the licensing authorities to the Integrated Transport Centre is fully complete.
The centre has also assured continuity of vehicle and driver licensing with the same quality and level of services during this process, and that close cooperation with all relevant strategic partners is a top priority at all times.
