His Highness Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Member of the Executive Council, has opened the 6th Mother of the Nation Festival on Abu Dhabi Corniche, reviewing a 10-day programme of activities and entertainment to be enjoyed by all members of the Abu Dhabi community.
The annual celebration is underway until 18 December 2022, and features art installations, international and local music performances, interactive workshops and family-friendly activities that help to strengthen community bonds across the emirate.
During the inauguration, His Highness was accompanied by His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, Her Excellency Maryam Eid AlMheiri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Government Media Office, His Excellency Saood Al Hosani, Undersecretary at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and His Excellency Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General of Tourism Sector at the Department of Culture and Tourism.
