Al Ain Zoo has celebrated welcoming 10 million visitors. The milestone was celebrated with a welcome from Noura Abdul Razzaq AlKhemeiri – Unit Head, VIP Services, with a gift package that included the complimentary annual membership for the visitor and her family, in addition to a tour around the premises through Al Maha Royal Service, Al Ain Safari, and the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre.
His Excellency Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, Director General of Al Ain Zoo, thanked the visitor, whose presence represented the culmination of the zoo's achievements and efforts in nature conservation and attracting millions of visitors from across the region. His Excellency extended his thanks to all visitors and partners who have honoured the zoo with their visits and partnerships over the years, and their contributions to the zoo's success that has put it on the global tourism map.
The visitor Sara Ali Al Nuaimi expressed great joy and pride in being the 10 million attendee to the zoo, alongside her family, emphasising that Al Ain Zoo maintains a strong bond with visitors from their childhood to every age-group. Al Nuaimi called the zoo, not only a place for entertainment but also a respected cultural and entertainment destination that upholds the protection of wildlife. Al Nuaimi also added that it is a legacy of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The 10 million visitor was counted from 2010, since when visitors have witnessed distinguished experiences and services and contributed to spreading the culture of environmental protection and sustainability.
