Abu Dhabi will host the One Run race on 24 May 2025 at Hudayriyat Island. The event is a collaborative effort between Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and Hero League.

Participants can choose from four race categories – a half marathon, 10km, 5km and 1km races – catering to individuals of all ages and fitness levels.

The race aligns with the ADSC’s mission to promote healthy lifestyles and foster a strong sports culture within the community, aiming to make sports an integral part of daily life and enhance the quality of life in the emirate.

Concurrently held on the same day worldwide and recongnised at the world’s largest half marathon, the ninth edition of the One Run International Running Race is anticipated to attract participants from more than 30 countries, including Russia, Cameroon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Morocco, China, Serbia, Pakistan, Argentina, Venezuela, India, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kuwait, Tajikistan, Nepal, Turkey, Yemen, Greece, Belarus, Egypt, Slovenia, South Africa, Peru, Togo, Brazil, Armenia, Malaysia, Jordan, and Chile.

Since its inception in 2017, the One Run International Running Race has seen exponential growth, earning a spot in the Guinness World Records twice. The race expanded internationally in 2023 and was held in 15 countries in 2024, reflecting its global appeal and significance.
