Abu Dhabi Sports Club has concluded the second edition of the Noukhathat Abu Dhabi Summer Programme, in partnership with Abu Dhabi Maritime and Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club.
The Noukhathat Abu Dhabi Summer Programme spanned 40 days across three locations including Abu Dhabi Breakwater, Al Mirfa and Dalma Island, and saw the participation of 232 sailors and a group of trainers from the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Academy.
The programme provided training on the theoretical and practical aspects of sailing and helped participants learn essential skills, including sailing techniques and how to manage bearings. The Noukhathat Abu Dhabi Summer Programme is developing talent and refining the skills of sailors, preparing them to compete in bearing and sailing races, as part of an ongoing effort to preserve the UAE's maritime heritage.
