Abu Dhabi Police’s International Conference on Disaster Victims Identification, held in collaboration with the European Training Center of Active Forensic Sciences Disaster Victim Identification, has concluded, having supported safety and disaster preparedness in the emirate.
Key recommendations included utilising AI to identify victims and developing global standard protocols for victim identification and legislation and laws to protect victims’ rights. The conference aimed to promote international best practices in emergency response, encouraging partnerships to advance the international community's disaster response capabilities.
