PureHealth has launched a new hybrid technology platform to connect remote and in-hospital healthcare services, enhancing patient access to a wide range of specialities in remote areas. The service, now available following the completion of its pilot phase, is aimed at residents of the Al Dhafra region. The platform allows patients to visit one of the SEHA-affiliated facilities in Al Dhafra, where they can access remote healthcare consultations and medical examinations with doctors within PureHealth's network outside the Al Dhafra region.
The equipped clinics will enable patients to undergo comprehensive remote examinations and provide them with immediate healthcare from specialists in specific fields. These fields include chronic diseases (such as diabetes and hypertension), specialist consultants in areas such as cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, and oncology, follow-up consultations for ongoing treatment, as well as remote monitoring and management of critical conditions.
The initiative, facilitated by PureHealth’s subsidiary SEHA, aligns with the group’s vision to harness digital innovations to establish new standards of excellence in healthcare and ensure healthcare access for all members of UAE society.

The programme functions as a virtual network of SEHA specialists plugged into affiliated clinics across the emirate. Once patients arrive at the remote clinics, on-site staff link them with their doctor remotely and conduct tests where necessary. SEHA doctors then remotely capture health monitoring and image data using precision biomedical devices and peripherals, delivering real-time medical expertise, diagnosis, and high-quality patient care.
The platform’s capabilities are enhanced by a variety of digital diagnostic tools, including video scopes and digital stethoscopes, which allow for comprehensive remote assessments. The hybrid facilities primarily facilitate consultations for conditions that require the attention of specialists.
In addition to improving healthcare accessibility, the platform contributes significantly to environmental sustainability by reducing the need for travel and lowering carbon emissions in line with PureHealth’s commitment to achieving net zero by 2040.
The inclusion of video conferencing technology not only enhances communication clarity between patients and providers but also integrates seamlessly with existing healthcare platforms. This helps improve collaboration among medical professionals and enhances continuity of care, establishing the platform as a credible and modern healthcare solution.
The booking process is centralised, meaning patients can request appointments as they normally would to use the service and visit a remote clinic.
