The Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) has been awarded a three-year accreditation by the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities – International USA (CARF) for its outpatient rehabilitation programme.
SKMC is a part of SEHA and a subsidiary of PureHealth Group – the UAE’s largest integrated healthcare platform.
Accreditation is the highest level of authorisation that can be awarded to an organisation and demonstrates conformance to CARF standards. The recognition followed a rigorous peer review process where the SKMC Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation demonstrated its commitment to providing measurable, accountable and high-quality programmes and services during an on-site visit.
Saeed Jaber Al Kuwaiti, CEO of SEHA, said: “We are pleased to see SKMC Institute receive the distinguished CARF accreditation, a clear testament to our steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional care to our patients. I express my gratitude to the Rehabilitation team for prioritising the quality and safety of care for the patients with utmost commitment and compassion.
