Under the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of the Presidential Court, has awarded the Mother of the Nation medal to His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, in recognition of His Highness’ efforts across various humanitarian, societal and cultural fields.
The medal is part of the 6th Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Programme for Excellence and Societal Intelligence, honouring achievements that address community intelligence, challenges, and changes to community environments, and create solutions to raise the quality of life and wellbeing in the UAE.
