President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received condolences over the passing of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan for the second consecutive day from world leaders and their delegations, as well as a number of Their Highnesses the Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, Sheikhs, ministers, officials, citizens, and representatives of government agencies and diplomatic missions in the country.
His Highness the President received condolences at Qasr Al Mushrif in Abu Dhabi from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain; His Highness Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, Representative of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, and the accompanying delegation; and His Excellency Jassim Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Alongside His Highness the President, condolences were accepted by the brothers of the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed and his sons, as mourners prayed for God Almighty to bestow His mercy on the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed and asked that he may rest in peace. Mourners also prayed for his family, relatives, and members of the Al Nahyan family to be granted patience and solace as they recalled the late Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed’s virtues and renowned wisdom, sincerity, and generosity during his many decades of service to his country.
