Abu Dhabi Government Support Department issued a set of guidelines for working from government entities in Abu Dhabi, to ensure the health and safety of employees and clients.
Government entities continue to work at full capacity while applying the guidelines, and taking into account that maximum attendance does not exceed 35% of the workplace capacity.
Each entity will implement the necessary mechanisms according to the guidelines. The capacity of government entities is to be reviewed and updated weekly, as per requirements.
Exempted categories, who may continue working from home, include employees living with diagnosed cases of Covid-19, or those who have chronic diseases, people of determination, pregnant and breastfeeding employees, and employees over the age of 60.
To ensure the health and safety of employees, suppliers and clients, guidelines have also been issued for working in and visiting Abu Dhabi government entities.
They include instructions to wear a mask and gloves at all times, maintain social distancing (2m) and avoid shaking hands. Using the latest technology, such as alhosnapp.ae, is advised.
