Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has launched an instalment service for litigation fees, notary services, and lawyer expenses in Abu Dhabi emirate.

Aligned with ADJD’s efforts to enhance the mechanism for paying judicial fees, the service contributes to positioning Abu Dhabi Courts as the first in the region to provide innovative and flexible financing solutions in cooperation with banks and financing companies.

His Excellency Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, said that the launch of the service reflects the department's commitment to ensuring prompt justice through convenient procedures and a reduced financial burden on litigants.

This aligns with ADJD’s goal of developing world-leading judicial services that enhance the competitiveness of Abu Dhabi across the economic and legal sectors, consolidating its position as an ideal destination for investment and business.

His Excellency Counsellor Yousef Saeed Al Abri pointed out that enhancing mechanisms for collecting litigation fees represents a qualitative shift in the process of upgrading the judicial system, by enabling flexible and easy payment of case-related costs through banks and companies that provide post-payment services. This ensures the preservation of financial liquidity for individuals and companies, and supports the provision of an attractive environment for investment and commerce in Abu Dhabi.

The new service enables litigants to pay court fees and subscribe to the services of ADJD, as well as fees for lawyers, experts, notary services, and enforcement-related fees, through easy instalments.

The financing company or bank will pay the full amount of the service to ADJD, or the fees to the lawyer on behalf of the person, and then collect the amount through monthly instalments. These payments may be interest-free or with simple interest, over 12 months or less according to the agreement with the company or bank.
