ADIPEC 2022 will usher in a new era under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE.
Hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and held from 31 October – 3 November 2022, ADIPEC is one of the world’s largest, and most influential global energy platforms, convening leaders, decision makers and industry executives from across the energy value chain.
Building on its 38-year legacy, ADIPEC has evolved from a traditional oil and gas trade event to an influential global energy platform addressing the energy trilemma. The patronage of His Highness reaffirms the event's position as a place where the greatest minds in the industry converge to discuss the road toward a pragmatic and progressive energy transition.
His Excellency Suhail Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, said: “Discussions surrounding the role of oil and gas in the energy transition are as crucial as ever, as we move to cleaner forms of energy and seek ways to reduce our carbon footprint. With COP27 taking place just days after, it is imperative that we leverage this opportunity to identify solutions for how we can drive sustainable value for generations to come. I look forward to welcoming everyone to ADPIEC to discuss the common goal of diversifying the energy mix to reach our climate ambitions.”
Christopher Hudson, President of dmg events said, “We are honoured to have His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE as a patron of this strategic event, which places Abu Dhabi and the UAE at the centre of the global energy dialogue.
“ADIPEC 2022 will see a greater diversity of attendees than ever before. Their fresh perspectives and challenging views insight will inspire the creative and critical thinking required to shape the agenda that will drive our industry forward and navigate the energy transition.”
