Under the patronage of Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, the 10th Education Interface Exhibition will take place from 27-28 May 2024 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, celebrating its bronze jubilee under the slogan Ten years in Service to Education.
The event will bring together 65 educational institutions, representing 537 local and international educational institutions and dozens of governmental and private educational institutions from the UAE and worldwide, representing countries including the UAE, the USA, UK, Canada, Malaysia and Australia.
The event will also feature local and global specialised lecturers from government and private to exchange experiences with students and individuals seeking to further their education across all academic and scientific disciplines.
This announcement was made at a press conference held on Thursday at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi during the ISNR Abu Dhabi 2024 exhibition. Present were Her Excellency Dr. Moza Saeed Al Badi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Education Interface; Colonel Dr. Khalfan Al Naqbi, Director of the Security Qualifications Center at the General Administration for Competency Development at the Ministry of Interior; His Excellency Hamad Ghanem Ali Al Dhaheri, Member of the Board of Directors of the Bin Hamoodah Group; Yasser Al Wahidi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy; Noura Al Riyasi, Head of the Talent, Institutional Development and Emiratisation Department at First Abu Dhabi Bank; and Maryam Ahli, CEO of the Education Interface Exhibition. The press conference also featured the signing of sponsorship agreements between the Education Interface and several strategic partners and sponsors.
Her Excellency Dr. Moza Saeed Al Badi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Education Interface, affirmed that the UAE benefits from the exceptional leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. This leadership presents a unique educational model focused on anticipating the future, incorporating modern applications and artificial intelligence, and promoting comprehensive and sustainable development.
On the bronze jubilee of the Education Interface platform, Dr. Al Badi expressed profound gratitude to Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his support and sponsorship of the exhibition and conference, which enhances efforts to advance education.
She highlighted the platform's ongoing cooperation with partners to prepare a distinguished, creative, innovative, and pioneering generation. This initiative aims to meet the requirements of the UAE's national agenda and achieve the UAE Centennial 2071 goals, which align with societal aspirations. Dr. Al Badi emphasised the need to diligently work towards the state's vision by empowering students, providing opportunities to explore future skills and specialisations, and building academic pathways that serve the state's vision for a sustainable, knowledge-based economy.
Dr. Al Badi also announced the joining of First Abu Dhabi Bank as a main sponsor to lead job empowerment initiatives in Education Interface platform, reinforcing the collaborative effort to invest in youth equipped with creativity and innovation skills. This commitment reflects the UAE's development vision, recognising youth as a vital asset. This vision is embodied in various strategies and policies to empower youth and continually enhance their capabilities to sustain the UAE's competitiveness.
The success of this educational initiative, Dr. Al Badi noted, is also due to the strong partnership with the Bin Hamoodah Group, the main sponsor of the Education Interface platform. This support underscores the shared vision of investing in human capital for sustainable educational development.
The exhibition serves as a platform for local universities, academic institutions, and representatives from major international universities to present insights on future professions. It also provides students and their parents with opportunities to explore academic options and educational aspirations through discussions with these institutions.
During the tenth edition, the event will address topics such as refining students' skills for the labour market, strategies to support youth in discovering their academic interests, challenges facing the education sector, and the future of work through artificial intelligence.
Dr. Al Badi thanked all supporting partners and contributors to the Education Interface Exhibition and the Middle East Youth Conference for their efforts in achieving national goals focused on educational quality.
Colonel Dr. Khalfan Al Naqbi, Director of the Security Qualifications Center at the General Administration for Competency Development at the Ministry of Interior, highlighted in his speech that the Ministry of Interior, guided by the vision of the wise leadership, is committed to strengthening its relations and partnerships with all national institutions to achieve sustainable goals.
He pointed out that, under the directives of Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ministry of Interior’s participation in the Education Interface Conference underscores the exhibition and the conference's role in guiding the nation's youth towards educational and employment opportunities, enhancing capabilities, and developing competencies.
He added that the Ministry of Interior ensures diverse and comprehensive participation every year, involving departments and sectors concerned with training, education, capability development, and presenting qualification and employment opportunities. Additionally, the Ministry participates in workshops and seminars related to its competencies.
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the supporting institutions, bodies, and individuals for their collaborative efforts within the framework of the UAE government's directives and its mission to enhance the quality of life in the Emirati community.
