Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and President of the Presidential Court, the Expo-Sciences International (ESI) 2025 will take place in Abu Dhabi from 27 September to 3 October 2025, organised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET).
The event will celebrate science and innovation, welcoming young minds from around the world to participate in interactive activities, workshops, and cultural and scientific tours, in addition to the main exhibition.
Hosting the global event aims to reflect Abu Dhabi's status as a leading hub for embracing innovations and scientific initiatives, making it a popular destination for major events. With less than a year remaining until the event’s opening, Abu Dhabi invites young innovators aged 13 to 25 to participate in this event, which will create a platform for exploring smart solutions and using artificial intelligence to drive positive change.
Organising ESI 2025 is in line with ACTVET’s vision to establish vocational and technical education pathways as the primary choice for UAE Nationals. This initiative aims to ensure the development of a skilled workforce committed to lifelong learning, contributing effectively to the country’s sustainable development.
His Excellency Dr Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director General of ACTVET, said: "We are proud to host ESI 2025 in Abu Dhabi. With less than a year to go, preparations for this key event are already underway. This aligns with the vision of our wise leadership to achieve the highest levels of excellence in the global innovation landscape and to direct the energies of youth towards scientific exploration and creativity.
“Through this forum, we aim to inspire innovation among youth both locally and globally, inviting participants from around the world to share their experiences and their creativity in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.”
The event aspires to foster a culture of innovation in the UAE, ensuring that future generations develop a love for creativity and an interest in scientific and cultural fields. The ESI 2025 will be held under the umbrella of MILSET, a non-governmental, non-profit youth organisation focused on enhancing scientific culture among young people.
The event will showcase innovations by youth from around the world across five main categories, including Biological and Health Sciences, Pure and Applied Sciences, Environment and Ecosystems, Engineering, Computer Science and Robotic Applications, and Social and Behavioural Sciences.
ESI 2025 aims to offer an opportunity for those involved in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programmes to exchange experiences and learn about best practices in their fields, as well as to explore Abu Dhabi's global standards for hosting major events.
