Abu Dhabi Customs has received 14 international awards that support the economic visions of Abu Dhabi and the directives of its wise leadership that aim to elevate the UAE's position to be the best country in the world by 2071.
Abu Dhabi Customs won four awards at the Stevie International Awards 2023, which recognises and honours exceptional achievements in the business sector, for outstanding companies, institutions, and services. Abu Dhabi Custom received the Gold Awards for Employer of the Year - Government Organisations category, Human Resources Department for its Innovative Digital HR Transformation experience, Innovation of the Year – Consumer Services Industries for the Invisible Customs System. The authority received the Silver Award for Human Resources Executive for the influencing leader.
Abu Dhabi Customs also achieved three accolades within the HRSE Future Workplace Awards of the Year 2023, in the categories of Best Innovative HR Initiative, Best Talent Development Strategy, and Best HR Transformation and Change Management Strategy.
Abu Dhabi Customs also earned six awards within the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards in the Learning and Development and HR categories.
In addition, Abu Dhabi Customs received the 2nd place from the ideas UK award 2023 in the Customer Focus category for a government services project, after making a series of improvements to the Clearance of Goods service and reducing the procedures to accomplish them according to the highest international standards since its automation during the strategic transformation journey in 2019. This contributed to facilitating the customers ' journey and enhancing their experience by reducing time and effort, and raising the customer happiness
Abu Dhabi Customs emphasised that these awards and achievements, which represent international recognition of Abu Dhabi Customs' experience, are the result of continuous efforts to achieve its strategic vision of being a world-class customs authority that drives change in order to enhance security, facilitate trade and provide distinguished services according to the best international practices. The authority has adopted and developed innovative technologies including artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, and applied comprehensive automation to manage its human capital and investing in human resources.
