His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has visited the 16th edition of Abu Dhabi Art, organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) taking place at Manarat Al Saadiyat, until 24 November 2024.
During the visit, His Highness highlighted the significance of Abu Dhabi Art in enriching the emirate’s artistic landscape and further strengthening its position as a leading global destination for fostering cultural and artistic dialogue among artists from around the world. His Highness commended the event’s pivotal role in nurturing and promoting artistic talent by providing a world-class platform to showcase their creative artworks.
Abu Dhabi Art features 102 participating galleries, displaying over 1,500 artworks from 31 countries. This year’s programme also includes panel discussions, workshops, art performances, and installations, with contributions from leading figures in the fields of art, culture, and creativity from around the world, facilitating the exchange of ideas and insights on global art trends.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was accompanied by His Excellency Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi; His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Rita Aoun, Executive Director of Culture at Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi; and Dyala Nusseibeh, Director of Abu Dhabi Art Fair.
