His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has attended activations at the 16th Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, at Yas Marina Circuit.
During the visit, His Highness toured several paddock pavilions and met the emirate’s guests attending Formula 1 racing in Abu Dhabi.
His Highness also emphasised that Abu Dhabi's investment in Formula 1 infrastructure creates opportunities for young Emiratis to develop their talent and participate in international motorsports events. This investment is further elevating the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as a key event on the international sporting calendar.
His Highness highlighted that the event has grown exponentially since its inaugural edition in 2009, strengthening the emirate’s position on the global sporting stage, boosting tourism, and supporting economic diversification.
