Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, the foundation has announced the provision of financial aid and in-kind assistance benefiting more than 25,000 families and enough for more than 125,000 individuals in Lebanon as part of the UAE stands with Lebanon campaign.
His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Zayed Foundation, emphasised that the aid package was in the framework of the humanitarian initiatives announced by the leadership, embodying the UAE’s policy of helping out countries in distress.
His Highness added that the support provided by the UAE to countries in crisis was in continuation of the humanitarian legacy of the founder the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The campaign, launched as per the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, with the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs' Families Affairs, and Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, is receiving massive public support.
His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Director General of the Foundation, referred to the support provided by the wise leadership to Lebanon and said it was very much in continuation of the legacy of the UAE Founding Founder the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
His Excellency added that the foundation’s work in support of Lebanon was very much in the spirit of the Founding Father’s legacy and the leadership’s commitments.
The Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Humanitarian and Charitable Foundation has launched several projects in Lebanon, including the Sheikh Zayed School in Tripoli, the Sir Al-Danniyeh Governmental Hospital, the Sidon Technical Institute for Young Women, the Zayed Library at Al-Manar University, and others.
