The General Women's Union announced the participation of the fourth cohort of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Initiative for Women Peace and Security in awareness courses in the field of artificial intelligence, in cooperation with Khalifa University of Science and Technology, to provide an aspect of the expertise and skills that keep pace with global technical development.
The General Women's Union had recently launched the fourth cohort of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Initiative for Empowering Women in Peace and Security, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, and in coordination with the Liaison Office of UN women, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, the Mother of the Nation, which comes from Her Highness's belief in the important and essential role of women in all fields as one of the pillars of the development vision that leads societies.
The training programme for the fourth cohort of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Initiative for Women Peace and Security, which will continue until September 2024, aims to build and develop women's capacities in the field of peace and security, establish communication networks, increase women's representation in peacekeeping forces, and enhance the operational effectiveness of peacekeeping forces.
