Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, Mother of the Nation, has congratulated the women of the UAE and the entire world on the occasion of International Women’s Day (IWD), wishing them further success and leadership.
International Women’s Day, which is observed annually on 8 March, is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This year’s theme is Invest in Women: Accelerate progress.
Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, Mother of the Nation, said: “On International Women’s Day, I would like to express my pride in women across the UAE and worldwide. They are also deemed a reflection of their nations’ advancement and development due to their unlimited giving, that goes beyond the boundaries of communities and nations to contribute to serving humanity as part of women’s great and significant role.
