The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, in collaboration with Department of health and Abu Dhabi Public Health Center has approved general preventive and precautionary measures for Eid al-Fitr to ensure the protection of public health and safety of all community members.
The committee recommended worshipers avoid attending Eid prayers if aged 60 or above or 12 or under or suffering from a chronic disease and to pay Zakat al-Fitr through the websites of approved charities.
The committee also recommended to commit to doing ablution at home, taking your own prayer mat to the mosque, wearing a mask at all times and practicing physical distancing.
