His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has attended a group wedding reception for several citizens, held at the Majlis Al Manhal in Abu Dhabi.
The reception was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa bin Mohamed bin Khalid Al Nahyan.
His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the newlyweds and their families, and wished them a happy and prosperous married life. His Highness also highlighted the role of group weddings in supporting Emirati youth and enhancing social cohesion and family stability.
The group wedding for citizens included People of Determination, as part of the family stability support programme Mabrook Madabart (Congratulations on your marriage). The programme was launched by the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) to promote integration into society and empowerment for People of Determination across all aspects of social life.
The occasion included traditional shows and folk-art performances.
