The Family Care Authority (FCA) has launched the Community Awareness Campaign under the One Family Initiative, designed to engage Abu Dhabi community members through a series of activations across the emirate. The initiative aims to address important social challenges such as family disagreements, personal challenges, and bullying while fostering a sense of unity and resilience within the community.

The campaign will commence with community events in Al Dhafra, followed by Al Ain and Abu Dhabi City, creating additional opportunities for community members to benefit from FCA’s services.

Her Excellency Salama Al Ameemi, Director-General of the Family Care Authority, said: “Guided by the vision of our leadership and our fundamental belief that strong families form the backbone of a resilient community, the Community Awareness Campaign supports our efforts to contribute to the Abu Dhabi Family Wellbeing Strategy, underscoring our commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality services that apply best international practices while staying true to our culture and values. By launching the campaign, we are committed to ensuring that the broader Abu Dhabi community is aware of the accessibility of our services.

Through counseling, educational workshops, and outreach initiatives, we’re here to support families wherever they are in the emirate, and provide the resources and guidance they need to navigate life. Our ultimate objective is to establish a nurturing environment that cares for all community members, encouraging them to grow and thrive, and to contribute to building confident generations that are cohesive, capable of fulfilling their responsibilities, and leading the development and prosperity of Abu Dhabi.”

The Community Awareness Campaign will continue with community events across Abu Dhabi, including locations such as Al Dhafra Majalis, Liwa Village, Ghayathi, and Zayed City. These events provide an opportunity for the public to connect with FCA and offer accessible support for all residents, citizens and visitors.
