In alignment with the declaration of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, marking 2025 as the Year of Community, ADQ has launched the second edition of its Community Carnival, taking place from 14-23 February 2025 at Khalifa Park in Abu Dhabi.

This initiative is part of ADQ’s broader corporate responsibility agenda, aimed at advancing socioeconomic development in the emirate through inclusivity, youth engagement, and public outreach, ensuring long-term benefits for the communities it serves.

Anas Jawdat Albarguthi, Group Chief Operating Officer at ADQ, said: “The ADQ Community Carnival aligns with the declaration of 2025 as the Year of the Community under the theme Hand in Hand. This initiative reflects the commitment of the country’s leadership towards fostering unity, stability, and social cohesion for the collective good. It also serves as a platform to raise awareness about ADQ and its diverse portfolio while providing a creative and meaningful space for interaction. We invite everyone to join us and enjoy a wide range of activities for all ages.”

This year’s edition will feature a variety of interactive experiences and entertainment activities, along with dedicated experience zones, including The Hub, where 18 of ADQ’s portfolio companies will showcase their contributions to addressing community needs and driving economic growth in the UAE.

The Playing Field will feature an NBA fan zone, sports games, activities and much more, while The Food Boulevard will showcase a selection of food trucks offering a diverse range of cuisines from around the world.

The ADQ Community Carnival will welcome visitors daily for ten days, from 4pm to 10pm, with extended hours until 11pm on weekends. Children under the age of 12 can enter and enjoy the carnival’s activities free of charge.

Among the participating companies offering experiences at the ADQ Community Carnival are Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), Etihad Airways, Etihad Rail, EMSTEEL, Agthia Group, AD Ports Group, PureHealth, TA’ZIZ, Al Khaznah Leathers, Silal, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer),  Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC), Lulu Group, Modon Holding, Wio Bank and E7 Group.
