Under the patronage of Mansour bin Zayed, the 17th edition of the Liwa Date Festival, organised by Turathuna, will take place in Liwa City in Al Dhafra from 15 to 18 July and 22 to 25 July 2021 under strict precautionary measures.
The 2021 edition, which will allow only participants to attend to protect the health and safety of visitors and organisers, will feature 11 date beauty contests, seven fruit competitions, three ‘best farm’ competitions, and a fruit basket beauty contest.
The festival celebrates UAE culture and heritage and supports the agriculture sector.
