Hamdan bin Zayed has visited the 1st Liwa Date Festival and Auction, held under HH’s patronage, and organised by the Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi until 24 October 2022, in Liwa City, Al Dhafra.
HH listened to explanations about heritage activities and competitions for date farmers and producers, attended part of the daily date auction, and praised the festival’s role showcasing Emirati heritage, supporting local products and enhancing the UAE food security ecosystem.
