Hamdan bin Zayed has visited the 18th Liwa Date Festival, which runs until 24 July 2022 in Al Dhafrah Region, and praised efforts to preserve the emirate’s cultural and agricultural heritage.
HH also praised the UAE President’s support of the festival as a key heritage and agricultural event that celebrates local and non-local produce, bridges generations through traditions, and promotes Emirati culture.
HH visited the stands of government and private sector entities participating in the festival, and was briefed on a number of initiatives, including the latest technologies used to plant palm trees.
