In collaboration with National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, Abu Dhabi Media Company is using the Hindi channel Mirchi Radio to broadcast advice to workers on how to adhere to preventative measures against COVID-19. The guidelines are broadcast in 3 languages (Hindi, Malabari & English) across 38 complexes in Abu Dhabi.
Every 2 days, the channel broadcasts an hour-long programme of guidelines and provides the latest updates on Covid-19. The initiative has been widely welcomed by workers, and comes as part of ongoing government efforts to ensure workers’ health and safety
