Organised by Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority and Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, the 16th Al Dhafra Maritime Festival is underway until 23 February 2025 on the coast of Al Mugheira, Al Dhafra Region.
The annual festival celebrates and helps to preserve the UAE’s maritime heritage by delivering a wide range of traditional, maritime, sports and entertainment competitions, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading destination such events.
The 2025 edition of the festival, open to visitors of all ages, also features a traditional market showcasing a range of products that reflect Emirati heritage, as well as Noukhatha House, which illustrates the UAE’s maritime history, alongside the Craftswomen Corner, showcasing traditional handicrafts.
