As part of its Ramadan programme, National Library and Archives (NLA) has concluded a series of weekly lectures on the UAE’s history, culture and heritage, sharing and promoting Emirati customs and values to instil a sense of UAE National identity among community members.
Abdulla Majid Al Ali, Director-General of NLA, has said that the large turnout for the Ramadan Lecture series reflects the community’s passion to learn about core Emirati cultures, traditions and values through knowledge share and constructive dialogue.
The Ramadan Lectures series featured experts and researchers discussing Emirati wildlife and traditional art forms, contributing to the preservation of the UAE’s cultural values through knowledge share and community dialogue.
